AKWearPlayer

AKWearPlayer is a free media player and UPNP/dlna Client for your Android & Wear OS device. You can browse media servers and download music files to your watch or smartphone where you can play them in offline mode.

AKWearPlayer is a standalone Wear OS app, so you don't need to install the smartphone version.
Your watch must support WLAN/Wifi.
There must be a media server available in your local network.
AKWearPlayer works also without a watch.
It is also possible to cast audio to another UPNP device in the local network. The media server which contains the audio files must be in the same network.

AKWearPlayer is distributed under the Apache License, Version 2.0 https://apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0.

For the UPNP functionality it uses the Cling Java/Android UPnP library and tools and is based on some files of Slick UPNP by Casper Jørgensen.
